POSTAGE AND DELIVERY

There are different postage options available for different locations and different services so can buyers please be careful to select the correct option for their location and for the speed of delivery they require.

All delivery times are from dispatch and NOT from the time of order so 24 hour courier does not mean it will be delivered 24 hours from when you make your payment.

All couriers need to be booked and parcels need to be packed so for this reason we are NOT ABLE TO OFFER SAME DAY DISPATCH and orders will usually be dispatched the next working day.

All delivery times are based on WORKING DAYS so when you are calculating when you can expect to receive your order, please DO NOT COUNT WEEKENDS AND BANK HOLIDAYS .
All delivery times are estimated as no service can be guaranteed. The only guaranteed service is Royal Mail Special Delivery at a significant additional cost. This option is not available as standard so if you require this service then please contact us direct to request quote.

All of the parcels we send with PARCEL FORCE require a signature so you MUST make sure you are going to be home for when your parcel is due to be delivered or that you have made suitable arrangements for the parcel to be taken in safely if you are not going to be home. Please DO NOT  instruct drivers to leave parcel in a safe place. Parcels MUST be signed for. We will not be held responsible for any lost parcels or lost items when the customer has instructed their driver to leave the parcel, even if the customer deems it safe, as the customer has accepted responsibility for the parcel by over riding our instruction.

Anything sent with ROYAL MAIL will be sent by proof of delivery or Signed For. The timescales for 1st Class are 1-2 days and for 2nd Class 2-5 days.

When placing your order, it is really important that you give us the best mobile telephone number and email address to contact you on so that we and your selected courier company are able to keep you as up to date as possible on the status of your parcel.


PARCEL FORCE 24: This 24 hour courier delivery service will be attempted 3 times, the first time being the day after your dispatch email is sent. After 3 attempts, the parcel will be returned to us at whicksnwhacks
. If you do not receive your parcel the next day, please notify us IMMEDIATELY as this makes it easier for us to be able to resolve. After a missed delivery, arrangements must then be made with the courier to redeliver your parcel or for you to go and collect it from the depot if this is easier. We will always provide you with your parcel tracking number and the email address/mobile telephone number you have provided will be entered into the Parcel Force booking ready for updates. It is very important that you provide us with your current mobile telephone number as when we do this Parcel Force will send interactive SMS dispatch messages direct to you to keep you informed of the status of your parcel including exactly when it is due to be delivered. The text will also provide you with a choice to reschedule your delivery for an alternative day if you are now not going to be at home. Unfortunately, due to ongoing problems with lost items, all of our Parcel Force parcels require a signature and therefore will not be able to be left in a safe place. Due to this, it is more important than ever that you keep tracking your parcel to make sure you will be in when it is delivered. If you are not going to be in, then please arrange for your parcel to be delivered to an alternative location where someone will be there to receive it. It is most important that delivery instructions are included if the parcel is to be left with a neighbour, because we will be charged £10.00 for parcels to be returned to sender. This charge will then be passed onto the buyer and will be deducted from any refund due. If a resend is required, repeat postage + the RTS (return to sender) fee will be charged.

PARCEL FORCE 48: This 48 hour courier delivery service will be attempted 3 times, the first time being two days after your dispatch email is sent
. After 3 attempts, the parcel will be returned to us at whicksnwhacks. If you are in any doubt as to which is the best option for you or if you need an item in a hurry, please contact us and we will advise as best we can.

All parcels that weigh 5 kilos and over will now be sent by courier regardless of what is chosen by the customer as they are insured if lost. Any extra postage paid will be refunded.

A dispatch email will be sent when your item has been sent. In the event of non arrival of your item, please notify us within 14 days from the date of your dispatch email. In the case of non trackable Royal Mail items, where possible we will attempt to locate your item before replacing or refunding. Buyers are responsible for informing us in this time period for lost items. After 14 days, the lost item is non refundable. For Royal Mail, 1st class would be expected to arrive within three days and 2nd class within one week. Trackable Parcel Force parcels are insured and should be
received within the 24/48 hour time period from receipt of the dispatch email. We are unable to replace or refund items where proof of delivery has been obtained in conjunction with a signature.

BT, IM, IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, TR21-25, ZE,
Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Isles of Scilly, Channel Islands and all the Scottish Highlands and Islands.
