These blocks are very economical and are great if you are making lots of candles and are looking for colour consistency.

Each block weighs approx 10g each and could colour 2-10 kilos in total.

Just shave off what you need with a knife and put the rest to one side.

If you need to be more accurate a mini grater and small scales would be useful.

Another idea would be to melt the whole block down into a larger amount of wax and then use this as your colouring.
